(Green Valley High School Varsity Dance Team: Committment to physical fitness excellence)
Happy Jersday, Y'ALL...I still use the term "Jersday" quite fondly even though I haven't watched a stitch of the newest season of "The Jersey Shore", but word on the street is it's definitely on. I mean, if I have to watch ONE MORE PERSON fall asleep in THE SHORE STORE!!!
But that's a different story...So guys, I work out on a regular basis. On the days I can't get to the gym or take a jog (always a silent J) I try to at least have a sexy solo dance party or cry. I think I heard somewhere that crying burns A LOT of calories. On the days I DO get to the gym I like to bring along with me a disdain for being one of those people who HAS to work out to boost my slow metabolism and shoddy hormone situation, but I also like to bring...A REALLY FUN PLAYLIST!
I have all different kinds of workout playlists, but today I am going to share with you what I so fondly refer to as my "Dark Child Mix". Please...allow the playlist to speak for itself:
1. Smash Into You- Beyonce (Knowles)
2. Escapade- Janet Jackson
3. T-Shirt (Radio Killa Remix) - Shontelle
4. Click Flash- Ciara
5. Skin- Rihanna
6. Energy- Keri Hilson
7. Be Still- Big Boi feat. Janelle Monae
8. Wild, Young Hearts- The Raveonettes
9. Coming For You- JoJo*
10. Do Ya Thang- Rihanna
A truly pleasing mix of both upbeat songs and slow jamz. Occasionally, I'll switch it up with a little Whitney. She's always the exception to the rule. ALWAYS. But Molly, what about the boys? Oh, they have their own playlist, but let's be real, THIS ONE'S FOR MAH GURLZ! Also, OF COURSE I workout to slow jamz. If you haven't yet, may I suggest that you try it? SET. THAT. MOOD. RIGHT.
*JoJo hella counts.
